Ladies Night at Playwrights Theatre - Thursday, October 16 at 5:30pm.

Tickets for ladies for that evening’s performance of Rising Water will be $22.50.

In the days after Katrina, a married couple is stuck in their attic in New Orleans. Water is seeping up the steps; the whole neighborhood is flooded. Unsure of what just happened or where they are going, holed up with whatever past they have stored in their attic, they confront the memories of their long and sometimes difficult marriage. Humorous and moving, the New Orleans Times-Picayune called Rising Water “a play that speaks specifically to us but has the power to affect a larger audience.” Rising Water is a co-production with Shadowland Theatre in Ellenville, NY.

Beginning at 4:30pm in the lobby of Playwrights Theatre, ladies will be able to mingle among the tables of women owned/women run businesses for various products and services.
