Ahoy! What fun is a boat on dry land? Not much according to this week’s Liberty Boat Show, which boasts more than 300 of the newest models in the water starting today (Thursday) through Sunday at the world-class Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City.

This premier in-water boat show offers something for everyone, from weekend family fishing boats to multi-million dollar luxury motor yachts with every amenity known to any landlubber: master and VIP staterooms fully equipped with plush carpeting, air conditioning, LCD TVs and satellite radios, sunroofs and skylights, spa showers, and kitchens boasting designer countertops and hardwood cabinetry.

Like what you see? Then take it for a spin as these boats are ready to be test-driven on the Hudson and purchased on the spot.

Show attendees will also find the latest in cutting-edge electronics, navigation and safety equipment; boating apparel, accessory and equipment vendors; plus there’s food and live music courtesy of BB King Bar & Grill and the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club.

Topping it off: the breathtaking New York Harbor featuring the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline as backdrops.

The 6th annual Liberty Boat Show takes place at Liberty Landing Marina in Liberty State Park, located off of exit 14B on the New Jersey Turnpike. Show hours are Thursday, Sept. 27 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Friday, September 28, from 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm; Saturday, September 29, from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm; and Sunday, September 30, from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Advance discount tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Tickets at the gate are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-12. Children under the age of 5 are free.
