Ultrasonic Super Fantastic Kid’s Day Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2007 at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, NJ

Woodbridge, N.J. (September 10, 2007) – Rock with Corbin Bleu, join the circus, learn to build a super fantastic sand castle and experiment with a mad scientist during the region’s free, two-day, mega extravanganza at the Ultrasonic Super Fantastic Kid’s Day Weekend, (www.kidsdaysweekend.com) to be held 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007.

Presented for the third year by the non-profit Garden State Arts Foundation (www.gsafoundation.org), which funds year-round free programs for school children, concerts for senior citizens, heritage festivals, classical events, and scholarships for performing arts students attending New Jersey’s colleges and universities, the Ultrasonic Super Fantastic Kid’s Day Weekend represents a weekend of performances by the nation’s leading kid-friendly talent, plus a plethora of kid-tailored activities and parent-friendly pricing at the conveniently located Central Jersey venue, the PNC Bank Arts Center (Exit 116 on the Garden State Parkway).

“Our mission is to continue to provide New Jersey residents with access to live entertainment and cultural programming,” says The Garden State Arts Foundation President, Joseph (J.P.) Miele. “Ultrasonic Super Fantastic Kids Day Weekend represents one of the many free performing arts events, heritage festivals and dramatic performances and activities we bring to New Jersey’s children and senior citizens here at the PNC Bank Arts Center and other venues throughout the Garden State each year.”

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6:

• The Rock & Roll Chorus – N.J. Teen a cappella group
• Miss Sherri and the Little Animal Band – interactive music for kids and parents
• Watson Kawecki Super Fun Time Show – magic, juggling and comedy
• Rebecca Frezza & Big Truck – eclectic folk rock as seen on Noggin’ and PBS
• CORBIN BLEU, aka CHAD DANFORTH, Star Of Disney’s just released High School Musical 2, High School Musical 2’s Sing It All Or Nothing, 2007’s Flight 29 Down: The Movie, And Austin In Catch That Sing It All Or Nothing headlines the outdoor stage on Saturday evening

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7:

• Starfish: a rockin’ band for parents and kids
• Patience Moore, The Cowboy Girl & Band – Singer/songwriter and sometime yodeler performs country swing and boogie, acoustic ballads and lullabies
• The Amazing Yang Xiao Di – Cuisine juggling from Shanghai & The Big Apple Circus
• Farmer Jason – legendary Nashville singer/songwriter and cow-punk pioneer doubles as famed children’s entertainer

Admission, parking and all arts and kid’s stage entertainment at the Ultrasonic Super Fantastic Kids Day Weekend are FREE! Comfort stations are available for families with infants or toddlers who need to rest, change or nurse.
