Shea Oakley, Executive Director of the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame, announced today that plans are in place for the “Wings and Wheels Expo” event held at Teterboro Airport. The event is scheduled for Sept. 15-16. This event attracted over 7,000 people last year. The Expo will be located on the corner of Rt. 46 and Industrial Blvd. on Teterboro airport grounds.. This site is much larger and will accommodate more airplanes, both vintage and new, as well as classic cars and military vehicles. There will be food concessions as well.

The proceeds raised are used to support the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum located at Teterboro Airport.

The Boeing B-17 “Yankee Lady” will be returning along with the Douglas C-47 Dakota from the Yankee Air Force. The Berlin Airlift Association’s Douglas C-54 Skytrain will also be present. Other vintage airplanes will be on display along with exhibits of vintage cars and military vehicles.

Food concessions and other exhibitors will also be there.

Shea said, “This is a great place to bring the family for a fun day as well as the opportunity to appreciate special examples of our aviation and automotive history.”

The free parking entrance is located on Industrial Avenue just off rt. 46. Entry fees are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, $5 for children 12 and under. Children 5 and under, free.
