SECAUCUS, NJ - The New Jersey Meadowlands Commission and the Meadowlands Liberty Convention & Visitors Bureau (MLCVB) will hold MeadowFest, New Jersey's premier environmental festival celebrating the Hackensack River, on Saturday, June 14th at the Laurel Hill County Park in Secaucus, NJ.
In its fourth year, MeadowFest will host over 8000 people who will be participating in fun, family-friendly activities and educational programs, including ecological tours of Snake Hill, pontoon-boat cruises on the Hackensack River, carnival type attractions & games, refreshments stands and live musical performances.
For the first time, MeadowFest is featuring the mPower Pavilion, which will have displays and interactive demonstrations on green buildings, renewable energy, recycling, alternative fuels, conservation and more.

Leading companies such as PSEG, Hartz Mountain Industries and Walmart are sponsoring mPower, which is offering exhibit space at discounted rates to not-for-profit organizations who promote the reduction of carbon footprints.

MeadowFest incorporates all the wonder of the Meadowlands region: the Hackensack River and its ecological splendor; the sports and business communities, and the vibrant residential life," says James Kirkos, chief executive officer of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce.
