You can find much that is old this weekend. Maybe, you can even peek at what’s yet to come. Or you can just keep up to date. You just need to know where to look.

Back to the ‘80s

Let Pat Benatar hit with you with her best shot Saturday night at 8 p.m., Bergen Performing Arts Center (www.bergenpac.org) in Englewood. Tickets are $47-90. Buy them through the website or by calling 1-888-PACSHOW.

Back to the ‘60s

When you’re alone and life is making you lonely you can always go downtown—downtown Englewood (again!) to see Petula Clark sing her greatest pop hits and Broadways tunes. The British songstress is at the Bergen Performimg Arts Center Sunday at 7 p.m., one day after Pat Benatar. Tickets range $45–$75.

Back to the ‘70s

The 1770s, we mean. Revolutionary War reenactors in period uniforms stage old-fashioned drill at historic Abraham Staats House (www.staatshouse.com) in Bound Brook Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. call (732) 469-5836.

Way Back

The Atlantique City Spring Festival (get it? Atl-antique?) bills itself as “the largest indoor art, antique and collectible show in the world.” That’s a big promise. But hey, even if only tied for seventeenth largest, it’s going to have a lot of cool old stuff from the U.S., Europe and the Far East. Check it out at the Atlantic City Convention Center Friday through Sunday. Want more info? Visit www.atlantiquecity.com or call (609) 449-2000.

Back to the Future

Scientists speculate that if you ever get sucked into a Black Hole and somehow manage not to get ripped apart, you might end up in a different time in a parallel universe. Nobody’s tried it as far as we know, but your kids (and maybe you, too) can learn about Black Holes at the Newark Museum Planetarium, Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.Call (973) 596-6529 or go to www.newarkmuseum.org/planetarium.

Back to Today

Stay in the now with The View’s Joy Behar, who usually has something funny to say about what’s in the news. Catch her standup at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, Friday 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25-$45. Buy them online, www.countbasietheatre.org or by calling (732) 842-9000.

That’s our view on what’s out there for you. Have a great weekend!
